Terms of Use

These terms explain the conditions for using the Shadowrocket site and manual, and outline responsibilities related to app purchases, configuration, and associated services.

1. About This Site and Its Scope

This is the Shadowrocket official site and manual. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and restoring purchases, importing subscriptions, configuring rules, and troubleshooting. These terms apply to access to and use of this site's content. They do not replace App Store transaction rules or any applicable license terms presented in the app.

Before following an instruction in the manual, read the guidance relevant to that operation. If you do not agree to these terms, stop using this site's content. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

2. Permitted Use and User Responsibility

When using Shadowrocket and this site's materials, comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and in any jurisdiction relevant to your activities. Do not use them for unlawful purposes or infringe another person's privacy, data, intellectual property, or other legal rights. Technical guidance in the manual does not determine whether any particular use is lawful.

Configuration instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details; obtain them from your service provider. Confirm that you are authorized to use them, keep links and credentials secure, and do not disclose them in public feedback. Rule examples explain syntax only; check them against your actual network environment before use.

3. App Purchases and Service Boundaries

Shadowrocket is a paid app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad, and is available exclusively through the App Store. Refer to the App Store listing for the price, compatible devices, system requirements, and eligibility for Universal Purchase. Purchases, payments, and refunds are governed by the applicable store policies.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a network service plan. Purchasing the app grants the right to use the client; it does not provide network connectivity or external services. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services, and does not handle service-provider accounts, data allowances, validity periods, or service fulfillment.

4. Content Applicability and Disclaimers

The manual explains how to use the app; it does not guarantee that every configuration will produce the same results on every device, network, or service. The app interface and App Store information may change. Before making a purchase or changing system permissions or feature settings, check the information shown at the time.

Keep a recoverable copy before modifying, replacing, or deleting a configuration. Network changes, rule conflicts, service-provider status, and user actions may cause connection interruptions or data loss. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site makes no guarantee that the app or external services will remain available, and is not liable for data loss, connection interruptions, or indirect losses resulting from actions taken based on this material.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you find that the instructions do not match what you see, pause the relevant operation and verify the discrepancy before making further changes that could increase the impact.

5. Trademarks and Intellectual Property

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to its developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, or the respective rights holders. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app. Purchasing or using it does not transfer ownership of its trademarks, software, or other protected materials.

The text, organization, and instructional materials on this site are protected by law. When quoting them, identify the source and preserve their meaning. Do not remove rights notices, distort conclusions, or imply that the quoted material is official documentation for another product. Uses beyond statutory fair use require prior permission from the relevant rights holder.

6. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

These terms may be revised to meet legal requirements or reflect changes to the service scope or content. Revisions will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top of the page will be changed accordingly. Revised terms apply to use from the time they are published, unless applicable law requires a different effective date or notice process.

For help with purchases and restoring purchases, see Frequently Asked Questions. For import, connection, or authorization steps, see User Guide. When reporting an issue, include the relevant page, steps taken, and what happened; remove account credentials and subscription links.
